The Rose Engine Butler system supports 8 axes (two spindles + 6 other), and the ones outlined below were selected as they match to identifiable uses for a rose engine.
These axes are also depicted in the pictures to the right to show how they orient for use on lathes.

In addition to the spindles (Sp0 & Sp1), up to 6 axes can be selected for use at any time.
The axes selected for use are shown at the bottom of the LinuxCNC screen on the right. As depicted here, the selected axes are: U, V, W, C, X, & Z.
